Jobs Won This Month
Countryside Properties PLC:
Beaulieu Chase, Chelmsford: Beaulieu Chase offers a wide choice of contemporary style 2-5 bedroom homes, many of which overlook attractive garden streets or The Chase – an expansive landscaped park.
Weston Homes: Southmill Road, Bishop Stortford: A collection of 12 luxury two bedroom apartments in the desirable market town of Bishop’s Stortford. Situated on Basbow Lane, the development is ideally located on a quiet road, adjacent to the quaint high street, which provides a variety of high quality shopping and restaurants.
Countryside Properties PLC: Runwell Phase 2: Set within an existing parkland landscape yet with easy access to neighbouring towns and transport connections, St Luke’s Park is set to become the perfect place to call home. Once there, expect luxurious new homes with tranquil woodlands walks on the doorstep, sensory and woodland gardens, a carefully refurbished grade II listed chapel, community facilities and more.
Higgins Construction: Colville Estate, Hackney: The regeneration of a Hackney housing estate has taken another step forward with the appointment of Higgins Construction to build 70 new Council homes for social renting and six for shared ownership on Colville Estate.
Higgins Construction will begin work on Phase 2 of the Colville Estate, Hoxton, shortly, and continue until 2018, after being formally appointed on the £40 million job. Higgins Construction will also build 40 properties for private sale, to help pay for the new Council homes for social renting and shared ownership, along with 129sqm of new retail space and improvements to the estate such as new lighting and roads.
Weston Homes: Mill Ponds, Phase 2: An £80 million “garden village” will be built near Dartford town centre. Mill Ponds, once part of the Victorian era Wellcome Pharmaceutical Factory – which provided medicines and supplements to the nation – will be transformed into 400 mixed use homes, including one and two bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom houses. It will be built over the next three years, and will front onto the historic mill pond and the River Darent, and be located by Dartford Railway Station.
